 With an impressive 30 years of retail
experience, which garnered her manager
awards at some of the most
prestigious retail stores, including; Foxmoor,
Express, and Donna Karan.
Shelly Manougian ultimately found her
calling in 1993. In that year, Manougian, signed
on as a sales associate at Anne’s
Silk, Satin, and Scents…an intimate
apparel shop, located in Portsmouth NH.
Anne’s
was likewise known as being the top
bra-fitting shop in the region. Owner,
Anne Doyle, noted that Shelly was “a
natural” even back then, and Manougian
quickly established herself as a top bra fit
specialist in the Seacoast area. Shelly
stayed on at Anne’s for 7 years, until
Doyle retired, and then was recruited to
manage Intime, a new intimate
apparel Shop in Portsmouth. After 4
successful years at Intime,
Manougian had decided to take another
direction, and in 2003, “Bella
Intimates” was born.
Over the course of the last
sixteen years, and with thousands of
satisfied customers to her credit,
Manougian has been recognized
nationally as being one of the most
experienced & knowledgeable bra
fitters in the field. She has been educating women about the
importance of a proper fitting bra for
nearly two decades.
And Bella Intimates has been
nominated twice, in the last three years,
for being among “the best of
Intima”, which is one of the
most prestigious awards given in the
intimate
 apparel business.
In
February, 2009 Manougian was chosen as the
sole expert to represent the Northeast
Region at CURVExpo,
Las Vegas, NV where
she sat on a panel of distinguished
experts within the intimate apparel
industry.
Most recently
Manougian became a Board Certified
Mastectomy Fitter with ABC (American Board
of Certification) and is working towards
the Accreditation of Bella Intimates.
Manougian
has indeed established herself as
“the Seacoast’s Premier Bra Fit
Specialist”.
